• Complex Groundworks
  Installing 6m piles adjacent to existing strip footings posed structural risk. Harrier Construction developed a contingency plan before drilling commenced. When larger than expected footings were encountered, this foresight allowed works to continue without delay, protecting both programme and structural integrity.

• Mezzanine Installation Within an Existing Building
  Lifting and placing the mass timber mezzanine within a finished warehouse required precision. Harrier Construction prepared a detailed cranage methodology and coordinated closely with all trades to ensure safe, accurate installation without compromising completed surfaces.

• Managing Long Lead Times
  The mezzanine had a 16-week lead time. To maintain momentum, Harrier Construction re-sequenced the programme, front-loading internal works such as services, ceiling grid, wall construction, and finishes. This approach kept the project on track and delivered within six months from contract award.

• Sequencing Interdependent Structural Elements
  Structural steel, fire-rated walls, and the mezzanine were installed in a carefully planned sequence. Consultants and council inspectors were engaged at critical stages to ensure compliance and avoid rework.

• Working Within Existing Constraints
  Tight tolerances demanded accuracy. On-site dimensions were measured and verified, with build-ups coordinated across trades to ensure procurement could proceed without delay.
